welcome to the bandwagon. a study was recently released
sometime last year about how cancers, cysts, etc. are all naturally
appearing and disappearing and floating along in virtually everybody all
the time. they appear more frequently as we age but most are
nonproductive. some have theorized that there are way too many biopsies
going on and that many if not most of these "new friends" are harmless.
there is a whole culture of fear around these guys. i think we are all
trying to navigate our way of finding the most balanced point of view
through all of this. it ain't easy.... but you have to appreciate the
"culture of love" and calmness that these mammogram clinics' personnel
radiate! they are so patient, loving, and matter of fact. i am no
longer quite as alarmed and fearful when as i clock in my frequent flyer
miles during my mammogram appointments. -MJ

Not saying I don't believe in those things, just that even if you do all those things (and believe me I think we all should!) you just never know what life has in store for you...

Kaoverii,

What an expressive blog and so true! I especially like and can relate to your phrase that no matter how well you believe you are taking care of yourself, you are not immune to having a major medical event. I am not a purist with respect to alternative medical care because I believe a combination of Western and alternative care provides a option for optimum care. What is most important in my experience is to continue to ask questions and communicate with every health care provider about your concerns, wishes and expected outcome. Staying positive will provide the necessary ingredient to healing and recovery. As you know I can say that from my owne experiences. Thanks again for being who you are!
Fondly, Marge

Kaoverii,

Thank you for such a great post! I think you know how relevant it is for me. I still haven't gone back to the Western medical doc. Still doing acupuncture and oils only. Need to get a follow up Thermogram. Have you done any research on Thermograms?

I do believe in diet, thought and attitude, however, and think it makes a big difference!

Love you,
Karen
